Sarah Pepper, host of the Morning Mix on Mix 96.5, has been tapped to speak about what it means to work for a company that allows her to give back to the community as part of her job. “I want people to see what having a supportive, philanthropic boss can do to change a city,” said Sarah Pepper enthusiastically as she accepted our invitation to speak at the United Way Luncheon.
Sarah has a very giving heart and spends most of her spare time volunteering or working for causes closest to her. Sarah has worked with the American Diabetes Association, Leukemia and Lymphoma Society, the Houston Food Bank, run the Houston 1/2 marathon, rode in the MS 150, shaved her head for Cancer research, covered the Grammys, and continues to speak at various schools throughout Houston.
Please join Galveston’s business and community leaders, along with the Rotary Club of Galveston and the Rotary Club of Galveston Island for the time-honored tradition of kicking off the United Way Campaign!
