Lindsey White, Executive Director
Lindsey was named the Executive Director of United Way of Galveston in July 2016. Prior to joining the island’s United Way, she worked for five years as the Associate Executive Director at United Way Galveston County Mainland. Lindsey received both her Bachelor of Science degree in Marketing and her MBA from University of Houston – Clear Lake.
Community service has always been important to Lindsey. Today, Lindsey serves as the Vision Galveston Board Treasurer and Public Image Director for the Rotary Club of Galveston Island. In addition to volunteering for ADA Women’s Center, M I Lewis Social Service Center, and the Ronald McDonald House, she has served on the Board of Directors for the Advocacy Center for Children of Galveston County, Galveston Regional Chamber of Commerce, and the Yaga’s Children’s Fund. Lindsey received the S.C Inman Volunteer of the Year Award from the Yaga’s Children’s Fund in 2013 and 2015.
Lindsey was named one of the Galveston County Daily News 40 Under 40 Young Professionals in it’s inaugural year, and was awarded the C-Crewe Member of the Year in 2018.
