CONGRATULATIONS and THANK YOU to Sean Dillion, a Junior at Ball High School, for winning our Day of Caring Logo Design Contest!!!

The talented students in Lindsay Haney’s Web Tech Class at Ball High submitted 16 fantastic designs for our contest. We asked them to create a logo for the United Way of Galveston Day of Caring that we can use for many years to come. It was so exciting to see the creative submissions that each student presented! We were looking for a design that captured the spirit of volunteerism, and the spirit of United Way, and most importantly, the spirit of Galveston. Sean’s design brilliantly captured all three! 

Each of the contestants were presented with a token of appreciation, and American National Insurance Company donated an iPad for the first place prize! American National Insurance Company is a huge partner in the Day of Caring, as you can see!
