The State of Texas is encouraging nonprofits that were affected by Hurricane Harvey to submit a Request for Public Assistance (RPA) to the Texas Division of Emergency Management (TDEM) by 5 p.m. Oct. 31, 2017, so recovery projects can begin as soon as possible.  Even if you do not think you will qualify, they are encouraging all nonprofits impacted and providing services to submit a Request and let TDEM/FEMA make that determination.  The RPA is a simple ONE (1) page form that you can send directly to: TDEMRecovery.rpa@dps.texas.gov   In addition, please encourage your partners agencies to submit a Request for Public Assistance (RPA) before the deadline.  In an attempt to speed up recovery efforts, the Texas Division of Emergency Management (TDEM) encourages submittals before 5 p.m. Oct. 31, 2017.
