We had a lovely time Lunching and Learning together with our Partner Agencies, thanks to Moody Bank!! This was the first United Way of Galveston Lunch and Learn in more years than any of us can remember, and it was just terrific! Representatives from nonprofit organizations across Galveston Island and beyond came together to find out how the Moody My Freedom account could be beneficial to their clients, but that’s not all!

We got to shake hands with people we usually only email. We got to hug people instead of seeing squares on a computer screen. We got to eat delicious food and look out at Galveston’s beautiful beaches and talk excitedly about the really important work that each of our Partner Agencies do every day. And what events they have coming up. And what challenges they are facing.

We reconnected! And knowing who your peers and colleagues are changes everything!
